I begin with a display of some pics I took recently on the highway on my way back to Frankfurt. I thought of Joel Meyerowitz pics taken from inside the car (Joel Meyerowitz Retrospektive, CO Berlin, Why Color? until 11/3/18) even though I wasn’t really impressed by Mr M. results. Nonetheless, convinced that „bad weather“ creates exceptional motives I tried it myself through the front screen during snowfall and rain. It was great fun, some interesting forms and contrast evolved until my camera’s battery went low and no spare battery at hand … my sympathetic friend stopped at the next rest stop for me to change the battery!
… nevertheless, it was impossible for me not to stop.
